Hello and welcome to Bayou Schnauzers. Home of the Toy and Teacup sized Schnauzer in the
State of Louisiana. We are Chris & Melissa McClelland and we own and operate our small kennel
in the town of Prairieville. Together we have lots of fun and puppies. We hope to provide you with
your very own special little schnauzer baby or babies.
All Schnauzer babies are born in our home with supervision throughout the whelping. They are
ready to go between 6 & 8 weeks depending on whether they are picked up personally or shipped.
Tail and dew claws are removed, but ears are left natural. Full registration is available on most
puppies. Your puppy will come up to date on shots and deworming.
We have Black, White, Salt & Pepper, and Chocolate Schnauzers. All of these colors also come in
Parti colors.
The Schnauzer has become one of the most popular breeds for house pets because they do not
shed. They are also great for people with allergies since they are hypoallergenic. They are
extremely alert, making a great guard dog along with being part of the family. From the bearded
grin to the furry eyebrows, sturdy build and all around good nature they are the perfect companion
for young and old alike.
